What a wonderful day! Nice weather, 2nd to last day of school, and finally an F on my ISU paper. Yes you read that right, an F. Or at least I think right now, I'm not too sure on the situation right now but it could change, or remain the same. What happened was that for our history ISU we had to pick a country that is fucked with like civil wars and then talk about it. S0 me and Jess figured that we will pick a country and work on it together, instead I used her first and second part as a "outline" for mine, so I re changed all the words, stuff like that. Well today my history teacher tracks me and Jess down and blows a fuse, calling us lier's, and cheaters, and basically telling us to fess up who copied who, we didn't say anything. Than he gave my paper and F and then did the same to Jess's. I told him the last 2 parts were not copied and he then left.
I told Jess that she can go tell him that I used her first 2 parts as an outline and that I really didn't care much for the situation. She did and he made me go up to his room as well to tell him the truth. Basically I said "I used hers as an outline, I didn't copy word for word, the whole rest of the ISU is all mine." then he called me "disrespectful, rude, unbelievable" and said that he didn't expect this kind of behaviour from me because I had known him for 3 years. Well I went off, I told him that HALF OF THE CLASS had either copied directly off the Internet and that he was incredibly bias for pointing me and Jess out as the bad examples. He said he would reassess the situation when he had "cooled down" I left and that was it.
I really wish I cared, but I don't, especially in this situation when he isn't looking at other kids work and noticing the blatantly OBVIOUS plagiarism. It is extremely frustrating to also know that I at least handed it in, and others didn't, but I know they will still get a good mark. I fully understand and know that YES I copied someone, but he acts as if I copied EVERYTHING on her paper when I totally didn't. I take full responsibility for my actions, but I will not let him look down on me for doing something everyone in the class did.
Asshole.
